Welcome to the Inter-Local Pension Fund (ILPF), a defined benefit pension plan available exclusively to Teamster members.
The ILPF gives Teamsters the opportunity to retire with the security that only a defined benefit pension plan can provide: a guaranteed, predetermined monthly retirement benefit for as long as you live.
What makes the ILPF unique is that it is funded solely through member payroll deductions and is not collectively bargained. There are no employer contributions or other forms of employer involvement. Because of this special structure, the ILPF is shielded from employer withdrawals, plan terminations and other corporate actions that have destroyed retirement security for millions of Americans.
At a time when American workers face disappearing traditional pensions and a growing retirement crisis, the ILPF offers a way for Teamsters to plan for their futures with peace of mind.
Correction to 66th Annual Report of the Trustees
You should have recently received a copy of the Inter-Local Pension Fund’s 66th Annual Report of the Trustees. Please note that there was an error on page 9 of the Report. At the bottom of the page in the “Liabilities and Net Assets” section, the last line of the table, Net Assets Available for Benefits, had an incorrect amount for 2015. The other references to Net Assets Available for Benefits in the Report are correct. The correct amounts for the Net Assets Available for Benefits should be as follows:
- 2016: $ 901,359,512
- 2015: $ 1,006,915,118
We apologize for the error. If you have any questions about the Report, please contact the Fund Office.
